Important Information Concerning Trains between Düsseldorf – Cologne
From April, 9th until May, 19th 2018 extensive construction is taking place on the train lines between Düsseldorf and Cologne. Some of the consequences will be:
- Many regional and intercity trains will not be running between the two cities. Please check up to date information and do not rely on old train schedules
- Journeys to and from Frankfurt or Cologne-Bonn airport and Düsseldorf may take up to one hour longer than normal
- Some train stations will be closed
- Train times will be changed
If you are in a hotel in Cologne, we advise you allow yourself more time to reach Messe Düsseldorf by train.
The following trains should not be affected:
- Regional Express RE6 und local train S6
